5 Question Friday...on Saturday

Ok, since I'm new to blogging and don't have many ideas on what to blog about, I decided to participate in fun little blog carnival, Five Question Friday started by Mama M . Well, my Friday night was spent at a football game, so this will be a Five Question Saturday, but just pretend, OK? So here we go.

1. Are you a Black Friday shopper?
I am not... I like my sleep. Anyways, I think it's insane. I can't stand shopping at Wal-Mart on a regular day because they are so busy, much less on Black Friday. And then you hear all these stories about having to close the stores and people getting air lifted to hospitals. So not only did those people not get their $20 DVD player, but they got a very expensive hospital bill. What a way to start the holidays! No thank you, I'll wait a few extra days and pay an extre $10 dollars to avoid that!

2. What was your favorite childhood toy?
Oh my goodness! I loooved My Little Ponies! Oh, the memories! I also loved my Big Wheel - it was white, pink, and purple. Me and my brother would race around on those, and then the plastic wheels would wear out!

I also had a few Trolls, but those were totally not as cool as My Little Ponies or Polly Pocket!

3. Favorite Christmas movie?
Without a doubt, Miracle on 34th Street. And not the coloful remake. No, that is just not the same. I'm talking about the old fashioned black and white one. My family has a tradition of watching that movie every year on thanksgiving night and again on christmas eve. I love it!

4. What is the "must have" item on your Christmas list this year?
This year, I'm not really wanting anything special. I mean, a new laptop would be nice, and maybe a flat iron for my hair, but this year, it's all about the kids! (who am I kidding, it's all about the kids EVERY year!)

5. Do you go all out with decorations or do you keep it simple and classy?
I think we stay more on the simple and classy side of it. Sure my decorations may not be as "fun" as some of my friends, but hey, I love my tree with nothing but gold ornaments. And of course, you have to have gold wrapping paper to match!

As I said, I'm new to blogging so not really sure what I'm doing, so I hope this workds. I know I am supposed to copy and paste a HTML code somewhere, but where?? here? I guess I'll try that
